Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies began her career in the field of acting aged 12 as she first began participating in open castings held in local theaters. The path to becoming an actress began as a child after she started going to public casting events in the area. Gillies debut television appearance was as a recurring character for three shows of The Black Donnellys. Her parents wouldn't let her to view the entire show because they felt that it was inappropriate. There were minor roles in the shows The Clique Harold and Locker 504 between 2008 and 2009. She was cast during August of 2008 as Lucy as well as Ariana Grande, her co-star from Victorious and Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. In the following year, 13 relocated to Broadway as an unprecedented Broadway production with an entire band and cast made up of teenagers. Gillies was featured in the big performances "Opportunity" as well as "It Doesn't Make Sense" and smaller parts in different songs, including the "title" song, "Hey Kendra" and "Getting Ready". Gillies continued to be a part of the show until it closed on January 4, 2009.
